Mayur Jadhav, Two Others Held in Panchavati Theft

Aluminium caps worth Rs 51,000 stolen from hospital

In a swift operation, Panchavati police arrested three youths for stealing aluminium caps used in medicine bottles from an Ayurvedic hospital in the city. The stolen materials were valued at approximately Rs 51,000.

According to senior police officials, the burglary complaint was received on Thursday night around 8.30 pm from the charitable trust-run hospital located in the Panchavati area. Acting immediately, the police registered an FIR and launched an investigation.

The accused, all residents of the Panchavati area, were identified as Mayur Jadhav (20), Jitesh Fasale (21), and Sandeep Kanojia (25). Investigators revealed that the trio illegally entered the hospital premises and stole aluminium caps meant for medicinal use.

Based on gathered intelligence and field investigation, the suspects were tracked and taken into custody shortly after the complaint was filed. During interrogation, all three confessed to committing the theft.

Police successfully recovered the stolen aluminium caps during the operation. The detection was carried out under the supervision of Commissioner of Police Sandeep Karnik and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 1) Monica Raut, along with other senior officials.
