David Lopez Arrested in Palm Beach County Theft Case

PBSO detains man on suspicion of larceny

by Sophia Bennett

PALM BEACH COUNTY — Deputies with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a man on suspicion of theft, according to official booking records released Monday.

The suspect, identified as David Lopez, a White male, was taken into custody in connection with larceny — other theft, a charge covering a range of alleged unlawful takings not specifically categorized under other theft statutes.

The arrest was filed under Report No. 414328 by 01–PBSO. Law enforcement records do not disclose Lopez’s date of birth, the exact location of the alleged offense, the value of the property, or whether other suspects may be involved.

Florida law treats larceny-related offenses differently depending on circumstances and property value. Authorities note that an arrest reflects probable cause at the time and does not indicate guilt.

The Boca Raton Tribune will continue following the case and report updates as additional details are released through court filings or official statements.
