Zulfan Malik Arrested for Cattle Theft in Bantwal

Vittal police recover four stolen cattle in Peruvayi

Vittal police have solved a cattle theft case in Peruvayi village, Bantwal taluk, with the arrest of Zulfan Malik (30), accused of stealing four cattle.

The theft took place on November 18, 2025, when the cattle, belonging to Ganesh Rai and Narayana Naik, were taken from society premises while being grazed. Following a complaint by Ganesh Rai, the case was registered as Crime No. 169/2025 at Vittal police station.

After a thorough investigation, Malik, a resident of Kodi, Ullal village, Mangaluru, was traced and arrested on January 8. He was produced before the court and placed in police custody for further interrogation.

Authorities stated that legal proceedings are ongoing as the investigation continues.
