WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) — Two individuals from Wichita are facing serious charges in connection with a series of bank robberies in Kansas. 20-year-old Zane Tilcock and 18-year-old Emily Wise have been charged for their roles in the armed robberies that occurred in December 2023.
According to court documents, Tilcock faces three counts of bank robbery, while Wise is charged with one count of bank robbery. The U.S. Department of Justice states that Tilcock used a firearm during the robberies of INTRUST Bank on South Webb Road in Wichita on December 11, Emprise Bank on East Harry Street in Wichita on December 16, and Sunflower Bank on North Jefferson Street in Junction City on December 27.
Wise is accused of participating in the robbery of Emprise Bank on December 16.
The investigation into the robberies involves multiple agencies, including the FBI, Wichita Police Department, Junction City Police Department, and Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.
