Zachary Bunnell Arrested in Rochester Burglaries

Man faces multiple felony charges for holiday thefts

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Rochester Police have arrested 29-year-old Zachary Bunnell in connection with a string of burglaries, mail thefts, and a vehicle theft, authorities announced.

Bunnell was taken into custody during a traffic stop on Friday. Police said he faces multiple felony charges related to three burglary and mail theft incidents on December 23 and 25, as well as a motor vehicle theft on December 1.

Authorities also indicated that Bunnell is under investigation for additional crimes, and more charges may be filed.

According to Rochester Police, Bunnell’s alleged crimes include:

Burglary and mail theft on December 25 at Avalon Cove Townhomes

Burglary and mail theft on December 25 at the Villages at Essex Park

Burglaries and mail thefts on December 23 and 25 at Cascade Shores Townhomes

Motor vehicle theft on December 1 at Extra Space Storage

Police continue to investigate the incidents and urge residents to report any additional information that may be related.
