TANNERSVILLE, Pa. (WOLF) — A 27-year-old man was arrested Monday night following an alleged theft and altercation at the Great Wolf Lodge in Pocono Township.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the lodge at approximately 11:13 p.m. after receiving a report of a theft. The victim reported that Zachary Brant, from Confluence, PA, had offered to assist her with her cart of belongings as she exited an elevator, despite her repeated requests that she no longer needed help.

The situation escalated when Brant allegedly became irate and threatened to punch the victim in the face while attempting to take the cart with her belongings. The victim managed to lock herself and her child in their room, but Brant continued to scream and punch the door.

Brant eventually left with the victim’s belongings and returned to his room. When police made contact with him, Brant reportedly threatened to punch an officer in the face. Officers attempted to detain him, but he resisted, leading to a struggle before he was taken into custody.

Brant was transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, where he is currently being held without bail. He has been charged with robbery, disorderly conduct, terroristic threats, and other related offenses.
