Antonio Ginestri, a YouTuber known by his online alias Squeeze.benz, was charged in connection with a string of burglaries in New Jersey. The 19-year-old, famous for his reckless driving videos in high-end cars, was arrested after Fairfield police linked him to multiple thefts in February. He faces charges including burglary and conspiracy.
Police responded to a burglary at the Speedway gas station on Route 46 East on February 6, where security footage showed a gray BMW X7 with stolen New Jersey plates speeding away. The vehicle and its occupants were connected to burglaries in Roseland, Secaucus, and Hasbrouck Heights, and authorities believe they were involved in other crimes in New York and Connecticut.
Ginestri, alongside a 16-year-old, was arrested and charged. Fairfield Police noted his social media fame, where he films reckless driving stunts while wearing a helmet to conceal his identity. His antics have drawn significant attention from police, leading to his arrest.
Previously, Ginestri was arrested on May 16 for an unrelated incident in Queens, where he was charged with assault after allegedly punching a victim inside a deli in Long Island City.
