MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Three men have been arrested in Montgomery County following an investigation into a large-scale diesel theft operation that resulted in losses exceeding $18,000.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects were allegedly stealing fuel to support an over-the-road trucking business.

The suspects — identified as 32-year-old Yordano Solis, 30-year-old Lionnis Perez, and 31-year-old Dariel Montero — were taken into custody as a result of the investigation.

Each of the men is facing the following charges:

Engaging in organized crime – criminal syndicate

Theft by unlawful taking or disposition (all others) valued between $10,000 and $1,000,000

Authorities say the case reflects a growing trend in targeted fuel theft, often tied to commercial or transport-related operations. Further details about the investigation have not yet been released.
