HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. — A 23-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon after police discovered she was using a false identity at her workplace on Commerce Court.

Hopkinsville Police responded to a call from Grupo Antolin, where a woman was suspected of providing a false name. Officers located Yesica Morales-Mancia, who initially gave them incorrect information.

After being warned about the consequences of giving a false name to law enforcement, Morales-Mancia produced a Republic of El Salvador ID confirming her real identity.

She was arrested at the scene and charged with theft of identity.
