HIALEAH, Fla. — A Hialeah man was arrested Wednesday morning after deputies say he stole merchandise from a Naples CVS and fled in a vehicle — all while driving on a suspended license.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, 27-year-old Yerandy Ramirez-Ramos was seen leaving the CVS at 11:52 a.m. carrying two large bags of stolen items. He then drove off, ignoring a stop sign while exiting the shopping plaza.

Deputies quickly located his vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, discovering it was filled with approximately $2,500 worth of stolen merchandise.

Further investigation revealed that Ramirez-Ramos’ Florida driver’s license had been suspended eight times. During the stop, he allegedly presented a Texas driver’s license in an attempt to mislead deputies.

He was booked into the Collier County Jail and faces multiple charges, including:

Retail grand theft ($700–$5,000)

Driving with a suspended license

Presenting false identification to law enforcement

The investigation is ongoing.
