CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — A coordinated investigation by the Charlotte County and Collier County Sheriff’s Offices has uncovered a large-scale theft ring responsible for stealing over $2 million worth of construction equipment, trailers, and utility vehicles across Florida.
Since 2021, the organized criminal group has been connected to 45 felony cases across 17 Florida jurisdictions, officials said. A statewide prosecutor is now overseeing the complex case.
Investigators have already recovered $1,097,500 in stolen property, much of it seized directly from the suspects or their residences.
Suspects Arrested:
Yerandi Diaz Quintana – arrested in Collier County
Alberto Lugo Nordarse – arrested in Marion County
Deyni Guanche Martinez – arrested at Department of Corrections (DOC)
Rodolfo Boix Fonseca – arrested at DOC
Atalier Moncho – arrested in Broward County
Raidel Aguado Concepcion – arrested in Broward County
Authorities say the suspects face multiple felony charges, including:
Conspiracy to commit grand theft
Grand theft (multiple counts)
Dealing in stolen property
Ongoing Investigation
Law enforcement utilized a range of tactics — surveillance footage, forensic evidence, interrogations, and phone search warrants — to map out the internal structure of the theft ring.
Warrants were issued in May and August 2025, and while most suspects have been apprehended, some remain at large. Authorities are actively working to locate and arrest the remaining individuals involved.
This is one of the largest organized theft investigations in recent Florida history involving construction-related property. The sheriff’s offices urge anyone with relevant information to contact law enforcement immediately.
