GULFPORT, Miss. — Two Tallahassee residents were arrested Tuesday following an undercover drug operation by the Harrison County Narcotics Task Force.
Yarnesia Ro’Shay McClary, 25, and Elton Bernard McKinzy Jr., 28, both face felony charges of trafficking a controlled substance. Investigators identified the suspects during a covert operation targeting bulk marijuana trafficking.
The operation took place near the 2900 block of 25th Avenue in Gulfport, where authorities spotted two vehicles linked to McClary and McKinzy. A probable cause search uncovered approximately 25 pounds of marijuana concealed in an SUV, along with about $30,000 in cash.
Both suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Harrison County Jail. Their bonds were each set at $250,000 by Judge Albert J. Fountain of the Harrison County Justice Court.
