A woman has been charged in connection with the death of 40-year-old Johnson Ewere, who was found dead in a Glasgow flat late Sunday night.
Police were called to a property on Charles Street around 10:25 p.m. on June 29, 2025, where Ewere was discovered unresponsive. He was later confirmed dead at the scene.
A 35-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident and has now been formally charged. She is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, July 3.
In a statement, Police Scotland confirmed the victim’s identity and said enquiries into the circumstances of his death remain ongoing.
Detective Inspector Julie Clisby said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Johnson at this difficult time.”
Authorities have not yet released further details about the nature of the charges or the relationship between the accused and the victim.
