Aparna, a 23-year-old fashion designer from Chellanam, Kochi, was arrested by the Palakkad Police on Monday in connection with the robbery of an astrologer in Kozhinjampara. This arrest brings the total number of arrests in the case to six.
According to the police, Aparna traveled to Palakkad on the assurance of Jitin, another accused, to get a share of the stolen money. The scheme involved a honey-trap in which Aparna took compromising photographs of the astrologer along with Maimoona, who posed in the nude.
The police are continuing to investigate the case, which has involved multiple individuals and is linked to a robbery that targeted an astrologer. Jitin is currently receiving medical treatment for a broken leg, and authorities are working to gather further details about the group’s involvement in the crime.
