In a case of visa fraud, Pratibha Dansinghani, a 38-year-old woman from Pune, was arrested by the Sahar Police for attempting to travel to Greece with a fake Schengen visa. Dansinghani and her 15-year-old son tried to board a flight from Mumbai International Airport to Greece on November 20, using counterfeit documents despite their visa applications having been rejected by the Netherlands Consulate.

According to the FIR filed by the police, Pratibha Dansinghani and her son had initially applied for Schengen visas at the Netherlands Consulate in New Delhi on October 24. However, their applications were rejected on October 30, as confirmed by the consulate.

Despite this rejection, the duo managed to obtain fake visas through an agent based in New Delhi, identified as Priya Singh. They planned to travel to Greece via Istanbul on Flight 6E-17 from Mumbai.
