BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Two men have been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a violent assault on a 20-year-old man in Southeast Baltimore.
According to Baltimore Police, the incident occurred on August 9 in the 2500 block of Eastern Avenue. The suspects, identified as Winston Rivero-Aliendo, 23, and Wilson Rivero-Aliendo, 27, allegedly knocked the victim off his moped and proceeded to physically assault and stab him.
The victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the attack was linked to a dispute over a stolen moped. With help from the police helicopter unit Foxtrot, officers and District Action Team members quickly located the suspects in the 3400 block of Pulaski Highway and arrested them shortly after the attack.
Both men were transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and formally charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder, along with multiple counts of assault.
A third individual was also arrested at the scene on unrelated charges, police said.
