SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. — Edgar R. Colville, a 31-year-old man from Willimantic, was arrested after police said he stole over $2,500 worth of sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut in South Windsor.
The theft occurred on August 3, when Colville allegedly took $2,583 worth of sunglasses from the store located at 201 Evergreen Way. After an investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was taken into custody earlier this week.
Colville now faces larceny in the third degree charges. He was held at the Hartford Correctional Center on a $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on September 2.
