William Wayne Martin II Arrested in Eden for MDMA Trafficking and Drug Possession

Eden Man Faces Multiple Felony Charges After Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Discovery

EDEN, N.C. – A routine traffic stop in Eden, North Carolina, on Friday, March 14, 2025, led to the arrest of a local resident after officers discovered a significant quantity of narcotics, including MDMA and marijuana.

Eden Police Department officers conducted a stop on a 2018 Kia Sorento as part of their regular patrols. During the investigation, officers recovered approximately 30 dosage units of suspected MDMA along with other controlled substances.

As a result of the discovery, 42-year-old William Wayne Martin II, a resident of Eden, was taken into custody. He faces multiple felony charges, including:

Trafficking in MDMA (Felony)

Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver Schedule I Controlled Substance (Felony)

Possession of Schedule I Controlled Substance (Felony) – 2 counts

Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana (Felony)

Possession of Marijuana (Felony)

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor)

Following his arrest, Martin was transported to the Rockingham County Magistrate’s Office, where he was denied bond. He is scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM.
