William Comer Jr. Arrested in Delaware Drug Bust

Delaware State Police Seize Crack, Heroin in Traffic Stop

(NEW CASTLE, Del.) — Delaware State Police arrested two men on felony drug charges following a traffic stop early Monday morning in New Castle, Delaware.

William Comer Jr., the driver, and Darrell Maxion, the passenger, were pulled over around 1:30 a.m. on February 9, 2026, along Memorial Drive near North Dupont Highway for an equipment violation.

During the stop, troopers discovered Comer had drug paraphernalia in his possession. A subsequent search of the Volvo XC90 and its occupants revealed approximately 34 grams of suspected crack cocaine, nearly 1 gram of suspected heroin, two digital scales, and drug packaging materials.

Both Comer and Maxion were taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop 2, Delaware State Police for processing.
