William Coleman & John Peeterse Arrested in Pensacola Drug Bust

Traffic stop uncovers fentanyl, heroin, meth, and weapons

PENSACOLA, Fla. (CBS12) — A routine traffic stop in Escambia County led to the arrest of two men after deputies discovered a significant amount of drugs and a weapon inside their vehicle.

According to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO), deputies pulled over a vehicle on Pensacola Boulevard on Tuesday, leading to the arrests of William Coleman and John Peeterse. A search of their vehicle uncovered fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, Xanax, marijuana, oxycodone, and drug paraphernalia.

Coleman faces multiple charges, including:

Drug trafficking
Drug possession
Marijuana possession
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of a weapon by a convicted felon
Smuggling contraband
Peeterse was booked on similar charges, including:

Drug trafficking
Drug possession
Marijuana possession
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Both suspects were taken into custody, and the investigation remains ongoing.
