Whitney Cheatham Arrested in Cullman on Drug Trafficking Charges
CULLMAN, Ala. — Whitney Cheatham, 33, owner of Infusion Wellness & SPA in Cullman, voluntarily turned herself in on Saturday following an investigation into a drug trafficking operation at her business.
Authorities began probing forged prescriptions used at several local pharmacies to obtain controlled narcotics. The investigation culminated in search warrants executed at Cheatham’s spa on August 11, uncovering key evidence leading to her arrest.
Cheatham faces multiple charges including three counts of drug trafficking, criminal conspiracy, attempted drug trafficking, unlawful distribution of controlled substances, practicing medicine without a license, and forgery related offenses.
Cullman County District Attorney Champ Crocker praised the collaborative efforts of local pharmacies and law enforcement agencies, stating that while an arrest has been made, the investigation remains active.
Cullman Police Chief Joey Duncan commended the professionalism and dedication of investigators involved, calling the breakthrough a result of their relentless pursuit of justice.
Cheatham’s attorney, Johnny Berry, was present when she surrendered to police. The case has generated significant attention in the Cullman community, with ongoing developments expected.
