West Palm Beach Man Arrested in Okeechobee Drug Bust with Cocaine Seized

Christian Franklin O'Neil faces multiple charges after undercover operation at gas station

OKEECHOBEE, Fla. (CBS12) – A 28-year-old West Palm Beach man, Christian Franklin O’Neil, was arrested on Friday after a successful undercover buy-bust operation in Okeechobee. Deputies from the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) seized two ounces of cocaine during the operation.

The buy-bust took place at the Town Star Gas Station located at 3990 Hwy 710 SE. According to OCSO, O’Neil was attempting to sell narcotics to an undercover officer when he was apprehended at the scene.

Following the arrest, deputies discovered the cocaine on O’Neil’s person, leading to his transport to the Okeechobee County Jail.

O’Neil has been charged with multiple offenses, including trafficking cocaine over 28 grams, introduction of contraband, unlawful use of a two-way communication device while committing a felony, and drug paraphernalia.

The OCSO has reminded the public of their commitment to combat drug-related crimes, emphasizing the ongoing efforts to ensure a safer community for all residents.
