EDEN, NC – Two men are facing multiple felony charges after Eden Police discovered drugs and a firearm during a traffic stop on Monday.
According to the Eden Police Department, officers stopped a Chevrolet Trax, leading to the discovery of 61 grams of fentanyl, 14 grams of cocaine, 13 grams of marijuana, and a firearm.
Suspects and Charges:
Wayne “Buddy” Johnson Jr.
Felonies: Trafficking heroin/opium, possession with intent to sell/distribute Schedule I drugs & cocaine, maintaining a vehicle for drug sales, and drug possession.
Misdemeanors: Possession of marijuana & drug paraphernalia.
Dimani Paul Davis
Felonies: Trafficking heroin/opium, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession with intent to sell/distribute Schedule I drugs & cocaine, and drug possession.
Misdemeanors: Carrying a concealed weapon & possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both suspects were denied bond and are scheduled to appear in Wentworth District Court on March 20 at 9 a.m.
