Waterloo Woman Arrested Following Hit-and-Run Accident in Seneca Falls
SENECA FALLS, N.Y. — Mary Keenly, a 54-year-old woman from Waterloo, is facing felony charges after a hit-and-run accident in Seneca Falls on April 11, 2025.
Keenly allegedly backed her vehicle into another car in a parking lot on Bridge Street. After the collision, she fled the scene, but the other driver was able to flag her down in a parking lot on Fall Street.
Investigation Reveals DWI and License Revocation
Following the Seneca Falls Police investigation, it was revealed that Keenly was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. Her blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was above the legal limit of 0.08%. Additionally, Keenly’s driver’s license was revoked due to a prior aggravated DWI conviction in 2023.
Felony Charges and Release
Keenly was arrested and charged with multiple felonies, including:
Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) — with one previous conviction
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation — due to her revoked driver’s license
Felony DWI — for driving with a previous DWI conviction
She was released with an appearance ticket for a court date at Seneca Falls Town Court.
The charges against Keenly are an accusation and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
