Walton County Authorities Arrest One for Firefighter Equipment Theft, Search for Another

Michael Hagan and Kimberly Davis implicated in the theft of nearly $12,000 in firefighter gear from Walton County Fire Rescue

PAXTON, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) has arrested Kimberly Davis, 39, of Florala in connection with the theft of nearly $12,000 worth of firefighter equipment from the Walton County Fire Rescue station in Paxton.

The incident occurred early on January 13, around 1:45 a.m. WCSO responded to the scene after a burglary was reported. Upon investigating, authorities reviewed security footage that showed Michael Hagan, 40, and Kimberly Davis stealing gear from an outdoor shed at the fire station. The suspects arrived in a white 1998 Lincoln Town Car, with Davis behind the wheel.

The stolen firefighter gear was later recovered. Davis was arrested and charged with accessory to a felony and theft of firefighter equipment.

Hagan, however, remains at large, and an active arrest warrant has been issued for his involvement. Authorities urge anyone with information on Hagan’s whereabouts to contact the Walton County Sheriff’s Office at (850)-892-8111 or Emerald Coast Crimestoppers at (850)-863-TIPS, where tips may result in a cash reward.
