Walker Madison & Mark Livengood Arrested in Drug & Firearm Bust

Traffic stop leads to meth and firearm seizure in McDonough County

MCDONOUGH COUNTY, Ill. (WGEM) – A traffic stop in McDonough County led to the arrest of two men and the discovery of methamphetamine and firearms during a home search on Wednesday.

According to the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a vehicle around 3 a.m. on Highway 95 in New Philadelphia. Observing signs of criminal activity, deputies called in K9 Vamos, who alerted them to the presence of narcotics.

A vehicle search revealed 25.23 grams of meth, prompting deputies to secure a search warrant for a residence at 207 E. Poplar St. in Bardolph. The search led to the seizure of drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, and seven firearms.

Arrests & Charges:
Mark S. Livengood, 50, of Macomb – Charged with speeding and aggravated driving while license revoked. He was booked and released with a notice to appear.

Walker K. Madison, 30, of Bardolph – Faces multiple felony charges, including:

Seven counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon
Possession of meth with intent to deliver (15-100 grams)
Possession of meth (15-100 grams)
Three counts of meth delivery (under 5 grams)
Madison appeared in court on Thursday, where a judge ruled he will remain detained.
