Waldorf, Md. – On January 30, officers assigned to Judicial Services, with assistance from the CCSO’s Neighborhood Enforcement Team and K9, were actively pursuing Michael Anthony Kirk, Jr., 28, of Waldorf, who had active felony warrants for violating probation related to theft over $25,000. Kirk also had an outstanding warrant in Virginia for burglary.
After following leads, law enforcement officers located Kirk and took him into custody. At the time of his arrest, he was found in possession of a stolen car.
Kirk was released on personal recognizance for the Charles County charges but remains in custody pending his extradition to Virginia. Officer Otey is continuing to investigate the case.
