ROME, Ga. — Wagner Feliciano Vicente, 25, of Rome, was arrested this week after leading authorities on multiple high-speed chases.
Police reported that Vicente was initially clocked at over 90 mph on the Loop while refusing to pull over. Georgia State Patrol troopers later located him near Billy Pyle Road. When officers attempted to stop him, Vicente fled again, driving at speeds of 60 mph in a 25 mph zone and running stop signs.
After ultimately being stopped, troopers determined that Vicente was under the influence of alcohol.
He now faces charges including two counts of DUI, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, two counts of attempting to elude police, speeding, running a stop sign, and reckless driving.
