SUGAR LAND, Texas – A Houston man, Vinh Tran, was arrested in Sugar Land after authorities found tools used for mailbox break-ins and stolen personal items in his vehicle.
Around 3 p.m. Wednesday, officers from Sugar Land Police, working with the United States Postal Inspection Service Special Agents, spotted a vehicle suspected of involvement in recent mail thefts. Upon searching the car, they discovered burglary tools and a number of stolen identity articles, including driver’s licenses.
Investigators later determined that Tran had stolen mail from individuals both within and outside of Sugar Land.
