A late-night search warrant executed by the Walker County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of Vincent Wade Yarbrough, who is now facing multiple drug-related charges.
Authorities said Yarbrough has been charged with possession with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of prescription medication and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest adds to Yarbrough’s existing legal issues. In June 2025, he was previously arrested alongside his sister following a fatal house fire in Graysville. Fire crews responding to the blaze discovered the body of an unidentified man inside the burning home, prompting a homicide and arson investigation.
At the time, Yarbrough was charged with second-degree arson and abuse of a corpse. Other suspects in that case faced charges including murder and arson in connection with the fire.
Officials have not publicly linked the newly filed drug charges to the earlier fire investigation. Law enforcement agencies continue to pursue both cases, and additional details are expected as they move forward through the legal system.
