PINE BLUFF, Ark. – A $25,000 bond was set Friday for a Little Rock man arrested on drug-related charges stemming from an incident at Saracen Casino earlier this week.

Vincent Brown, 50, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with purpose to deliver and tampering with physical evidence after police responded to a report of suspected narcotics found on the casino floor at 9:01 p.m. Wednesday, according to Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel.

Following the discovery, Brown was taken to the Pine Bluff Police Detective Office for questioning. During the bond hearing, Akel noted that Brown has multiple prior felony convictions in Massachusetts.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney ruled that there was probable cause to proceed with the charges. Brown stated in court that he would hire his own attorney and was ordered to return for his next court appearance on June 13.
