JEFFERSON DAVIS COUNTY, Miss. – Victoria Reese, a Jefferson Davis County resident, was arrested on October 3 for alleged SNAP fraud, according to the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS).
Authorities say Reese received $25,698 in SNAP benefits by allegedly failing to accurately report her household income and composition.
The MDHS conducted the investigation, and local officials carried out the arrest. Reese now faces charges related to the misuse of food assistance benefits.
