PASQUOTANK COUNTY, N.C. — A routine traffic stop led to drug charges for Victor Dance, local deputies announced Monday.
The Pasquotank County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a vehicle shortly before 2:30 p.m. on the 900 block of Roanoke Avenue for vehicle registration and equipment violations.
During the stop, deputies found probable cause to search the car, uncovering crack cocaine, methamphetamine, and several pieces of drug paraphernalia.
Dance was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. His passenger, Morgan McGlohon, received a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and was subsequently released.
Dance was held on a $5,000 secured bond.
