In a significant drug bust, Vicky Lyngdoh and Ricky Kharsyntiew, both 24 years old, were arrested by the Sonapur Police Station team during a nighttime operation in Sonapur, Assam. The police seized 12 grams of heroin, which was found sealed in a box at the time of the arrest.
Along with the heroin, authorities also recovered several items that are believed to be linked to the drug trade, including a mobile phone, a motorcycle, and Rs13,140 in cash.
This operation is part of ongoing efforts by local law enforcement to combat drug trafficking in the region. Both suspects remain in police custody as the investigation into their activities continues.
