VICKSBURG, Miss. (VDN) — Elizabeth Heather Wright, 47, was taken into custody on September 2 following an undercover operation targeting methamphetamine sales in Vicksburg.

The joint investigation was conducted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Vicksburg Police Department, led by Jeff Merritt (WCSO) and Donnie Heggins (VPD). Surveillance documented Wright selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer on Wisconsin Avenue.

At her initial court appearance, Justice Court Judge Jeff Crevitt set Wright’s bond at $50,000. A detainer was also issued due to her current felony probation status from a prior conviction. Wright remains held at the Warren County Jail pending further proceedings.
