MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — Ventura Perez Del Castillo has pleaded guilty to attacking a Miami Beach doctor last year at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Perez Del Castillo admitted to body-slamming Dr. Steven Silvers during an October confrontation, an incident captured on surveillance footage.
The altercation reportedly arose from a dispute over a prescription given to Perez Del Castillo’s mother.
He was sentenced to serve one year in county jail, followed by two years of house arrest.
