In a swift police action, Kilambakkam police have arrested two men for the murder of a car driver named Manikandan inside a private college in Vandalur, located near Tambaram, on Tuesday morning.
According to the Tambaram police, Manikandan was resting in the restroom of the college when he was attacked and murdered by a two-member gang. The chilling incident shocked staff and students alike.
Based on eyewitness accounts, a police investigation team quickly zeroed in on the suspects. On Wednesday, they arrested Veerabhadran and Muthu, both of whom are believed to have had personal enmity with the victim.
Authorities are still probing the motive behind the attack, and further investigation is ongoing to determine if others were involved.
