OMAHA, Neb. — Omaha police have arrested a man suspected of killing another man in the Benson area earlier this month.

Ve’Angelo Moore, 22, was taken into custody around 5:50 p.m. near 16th and Farnam Streets, according to Omaha police. Investigators believe Moore is responsible for the fatal shooting of Joshua Perrin, 34, which occurred on Nov. 11 near 56th and Hamilton Streets.

Police said Moore is expected to face multiple charges, including first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, second-degree assault, and two counts of use of a firearm to commit a felony.

The investigation remains ongoing, authorities said.
