In a major breakthrough, authorities apprehended Varsha and her partner, Gaurav, on Thursday, three months after they allegedly killed Bhupendra for opposing their illicit relationship. Bhupendra was found hanging outside his village, Ghusrana Harisingh, on July 18.
Following a thorough investigation led by Dibai Police Station, Additional Superintendent of Police Tejveer Singh confirmed the arrest. According to officials, the duo planned the murder after Bhupendra objected to Varsha’s extramarital affair.
Further investigation revealed layers of familial betrayal: Varsha had allegedly intended for Bhupendra to marry her sister. Meanwhile, an accomplice, Chhote Singh, who assisted in executing the crime, remains on the run. Police are actively pursuing him to ensure justice is delivered.
