Varanasi Police Arrest Arvind Kumar Keshri in Rs3 Cr Fraud

Cantt police nab Prayagraj resident for flour mill forgery

Varanasi Cantt police have arrested Arvind Kumar Keshri, a resident of Prayagraj district, for misappropriating Rs3 crore from a flour mill company through forgery. Arvind, who was residing in Mohania area of Bhabua district, Bihar, was apprehended with the assistance of the Cyber Cell on January 15.

According to reports, Nitin Mittal, owner of a flour mill in Lahartara, Varanasi, filed an FIR against Arvind at Manduadih police station. The complaint alleged that Arvind embezzled funds using fake bills and sought legal action under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 406, 408, 504, 506, and 120B of the IPC.

The investigation was led by SSI Ram Keval Yadav of Cantt police station. After the FIR was lodged, Arvind absconded, but diligent efforts by the police, aided by cyber tracking, led to his arrest in Mohania, Bihar.

Arvind has now been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway to recover the defrauded amount and identify any accomplices.
