Valdosta Police Seek Three Men for $110K Business Theft

by Sophia Bennett

VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) — The Valdosta Police Department is actively searching for three men in connection to a theft involving more than $110,000 worth of property from a local business.

Alex Nash, 41; Bruce Hallman, 47; and Ryan Sirman, 39, remain at large after items including a pickup truck, flatbed trailers, zero-turn mowers, and ATVs were stolen from a secured lot at Cranky Ape on South Patterson Street.

The incident occurred around 8:15 a.m. on July 21, when employees reported the theft. Over several weeks, police recovered multiple items and analyzed evidence leading to the identification of the suspects. Jerod Maurice Younger, 36, a Valdosta resident, was also named as a suspect.

On August 13, warrants were issued for all four men on five felony counts of theft by taking and misdemeanor criminal trespass charges. Younger, already in Lowndes County Jail on unrelated charges, was served with the additional charges.

The investigation is ongoing, with further charges expected.
