VACB Arrests Sangeeth K & Anilkumar in Rs14 Crore Scam

Misappropriation case hits Kerala State Lottery Fund Board

The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) on Friday arrested two individuals in connection with a Rs14 crore misappropriation case involving the Kerala State Lottery Agents and Sellers Welfare Fund Board, officials said.

The arrested persons have been identified as Sangeeth K., a resident of Attingal, and Anilkumar, a contractor from Vazhuthacaud. Vigilance officials stated that the arrests followed a detailed investigation into irregularities and mismanagement within the Welfare Fund Board.

Further investigation is underway to trace the flow of funds and identify any additional persons involved in the alleged financial misconduct.
