The Satyanarayanapuram police have arrested the owner of the animation firm Upix Creations, along with two others, in connection with a fraud case involving fake investment schemes.
The accused have been identified as:
N. Venkata Satya Lakshmi Kiran (Owner of Upix Creations, Vijayawada)
M. Rajendra Kumar (Guntur)
M. Rajiv Krishna (Guntur)
According to officials, the trio allegedly lured customers with promises of attractive returns on investments in their animation business. Victims were reportedly enticed with claims of high profits and assured payouts — none of which materialized.
As complaints poured in, police launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of the accused. Authorities are currently assessing the total value of the fraud and identifying further victims.
An FIR has been filed, and further legal proceedings are underway.
