UP Native Tailor Arrested for Stealing Materials Worth Rs 23,500

Dharamraj Chawan, 33, Steals from Employer's Godown in Caranzalem

A 33-year-old tailor from Uttar Pradesh has been arrested for stealing tailoring materials worth Rs 23,500 from his employer’s godown in Caranzalem. The accused, Dharamraj Chawan, a resident of Dona Paula and originally from Terahi Azamgrah, UP, was apprehended following a complaint filed by his employer, Arjun Kushwah.

The police acted on the complaint and launched an investigation, which led to the arrest of Chawan. The stolen materials were reportedly taken from the godown where Chawan had been working. This incident highlights a case of employee theft, leading to significant financial loss for the employer.
