The Udupi police have apprehended two individuals in connection with the creation of fake insurance policies for buses belonging to private and government-aided educational institutions in Udupi and Uttara Kannada districts.
The accused have been identified as S. Rakesh, 33, from Pandeshwar village in Brahmavar, and Charan Babu Mesta. Police investigations are ongoing to determine the extent of the fraudulent operations.
