Udupi Police Arrest Madhya Pradesh Duo in Rs18700 Theft Case

Silver, gold ornaments and cash recovered from accused

The Udupi police have apprehended two men from Madhya Pradesh for allegedly stealing valuables from a house in the Mission Compound area of Badagubettu village on July 20.

The accused have been identified as Bangada alias Bangu alias Ramesh Jawan Singh, aged 37, and Kaliya alias Kalu, aged 25, both residents of Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh.

During the investigation, police recovered 681.83 mg of silver ornaments, 470 mg of gold ornaments, and Rs1,700 in cash, which were reportedly stolen during the incident. The police continue their investigation into the theft and possible links to other crimes in the region.
