JACKSONVILLE, N.C. — A Jacksonville man is facing numerous felony drug charges following his arrest by the Jacksonville Police Department, according to recently obtained arrest warrants.
Police arrested 32-year-old Tysheem Sheron Watkins, who is charged with multiple felony offenses involving cocaine, methamphetamine, and Suboxone, along with several misdemeanor charges. Watkins is currently being held without bond at the Onslow County Detention Center.
Charges include:
Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver cocaine
Felony manufacture of cocaine
Felony possession with intent to manufacture methamphetamine
Felony manufacture of methamphetamine
Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver Suboxone (Schedule III)
Maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances
Misdemeanor possession of marijuana (up to ½ ounce)
Possession of marijuana paraphernalia
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Resisting a public officer
According to the warrants, Watkins allegedly possessed approximately four grams of cocaine with intent to sell or distribute and is accused of manufacturing cocaine through packaging and repackaging. Authorities also allege he manufactured, sold, or delivered methamphetamine and possessed 14 Suboxone strips intended for distribution.
Police further state Watkins resisted arrest by bracing, tensing, and pulling away as officers attempted to take him into custody.
Watkins is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Dec. 16 at 8:55 a.m. before Judicial Officer James W. Bateman III at the Onslow County Courthouse.
