NORWALK, CT (WFSB) — A man has been charged with multiple counts of burglary following a large-scale theft at a storage facility in Norwalk.
Police reported that Tylon Gardner broke into 89 storage units at the Cubesmart on Bouton Street on July 1, 2024. The stolen items included firearms and other valuables.
After a year-long investigation involving the review of extensive video footage, execution of search and seizure warrants, and collaboration with various law enforcement agencies, Gardner was identified as the suspect.
An arrest warrant was issued in July 2025, and Gardner was taken into custody at Stamford Superior Court on September 10.
He now faces five counts of third-degree burglary, five counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, two counts of theft of a firearm, and two counts of conspiracy to commit theft of a firearm.
Gardner’s bond was set at $50,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court on September 24.
