HEIDELBERG, Miss. — Authorities have arrested four Bay Springs teenagers in connection with the Homecoming Night shooting at Heidelberg High School that left two people dead.
Jasper County Sheriff Randy Johnson confirmed Monday that the suspects are Jadarius Quartez Page, 19; Jabari DeShaun Collins, 19; Tylar Jarod Goodloe, 18; and Damarin D. Starks, 19.
According to officials, Tylar Goodloe faces the most serious charges — two counts of capital murder and one count of possession of a deadly weapon on educational property. His bond has been set at $2,010,000.
Page has been charged with accessory after the fact, while Collins faces one count of possession of a deadly weapon on educational property. Starks is charged with accessory after the fact and tampering with physical evidence.
The Heidelberg Police Department made the arrests, and bond hearings for Page, Collins, and Starks are expected to take place today, Sheriff Johnson said.
The shooting occurred during Heidelberg High School’s Homecoming celebration, sending shockwaves through the tight-knit Jasper County community. Authorities continue to investigate the incident and have not released further details about the victims.
