Ty’Kisalyn Towner Arrested for DUI After Striking Child in Pearl

22-year-old charged with DUI, assault, and paraphernalia possession

PEARL, Miss. — A 22-year-old woman, Ty’Kisalyn Towner, has been arrested after striking a child with her vehicle while driving under the influence.

On the evening of May 3, officers from the Pearl Police Department responded to a call on Pine Circle Drive at approximately 8 p.m. Upon arrival, they detained Towner and began administering medical assistance to the child, who was injured in the incident. During the investigation, authorities determined that Towner was impaired while operating her vehicle.

Towner now faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence (DUI), simple assault on a minor, possession of paraphernalia, and an outstanding failure-to-appear (FTA) warrant.

The child was transported to a nearby hospital but is expected to recover from non-life-threatening injuries.

This case is currently under investigation by the Pearl Police Department.
